Yes, what’s wrong with love and understanding? Why didn’t Richard Gere yell to those affairs in Iraq, Africa, Afghanistan and The United States?

Richard Gere should turn on the BBC world service news hour to learn what’s happening exactly.

Sick of those nonsensical from Richard Gere and some Hollywood stars, go home, find something more important to do.

    what you are doing is called ad hominem relativist arguing, which basically means you are not discussing anything, just flinging dog shit back and forth.

    why dont you consider WHY Richard Gere and many others would say anything at all about Tibet?

    In the western media, you may have realized that we discuss Iraq, Afghanistan and everything else very openly and sometimes even come to an agreement about things. Does that happen in China as well? What would hapen to you if you went up to some of your chinese tongbao and said: you know i wonder about Tibet … they might lynch you. GO up to someone in the US and say, man i wonder about Iraq … and you will probably spend an afternoon talking. maybe even yelling.

    It is impossible to discuss issues with Chinese because you cannot argue, you only insult and point out someone else’s dirt, without actually considering what the issue is. Perhaps you can try this:

    explain WHY Richard Gere is an ignoramus using ONLY the Tibet issue. Then challenge him (or anyone else) to discuss Iraq with you.

    Discussion is key. Shit flinging is less than useless.

    Maybe you haven’t find the right chinese to talk about issues. Not every chinese only watch CCTV or national TV news, people know how to get real information from different source if they care. And I’m sure chinese is not that apathetic.

    I do not understand that why american loves to mind other’s business. Local media loves to directed against China affairs. Yes, they also question their own affairs. But maybe they are not at the right position to discuss some complicated issues sometimes.

    Oh, has Ricard Gere ever been to Tibet? He shall show some of his love and understanding with locals there.

    By the way, if I go up to someone in the US and say issues, you know what I will get? nothing, because no one has time for you in the US, they’re so BUSY, oh my gosh, they all have plans. They don’t care news outside their own areas. I can’t find a single person who can chat international affairs with me, all they talk about is party, get drunk or get stoned.
